The Story Behind Ramblas Siete

Ramblas Siete is all about bringing ethically-sourced, handmade goods from artisan communities around the world to Austin. I launched in June 2024 after spending years traveling through Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Europe, connecting with makers who care about craft, community, and sustainability.

Everything I sell meets at least one of five core values: gives back to communities, uses recycled or repurposed materials, is handmade, follows sustainable and eco-friendly practices, or is made from natural fibers. No exceptions.

I work directly with an indigenous community in Ecuador, visiting regularly to ensure quality and good working conditions. My bestselling upcycled blanket jackets? They come from a small family there who transforms damaged blankets into one-of-a-kind, unisex outerwear instead of tossing the material. I also carry hand-woven sheep's wool rugs, beaded earrings, leather bags and wallets, and handmade hats from various artisan partners.

I also design custom pieces produced by collectives doing similar work. My Uganda bags are a great example—proceeds support educational resources for local children.

Beyond my core collection, I curate from other artisans and small businesses who share my commitment to ethical production. You'll see different items from time to time as I discover new makers and bring in seasonal pieces.

Custom orders are available for volume purchases on select items.

Ramblas Siete is about more than just selling beautiful things. It's about knowing where your stuff comes from and feeling good about who benefits when you buy it. Every purchase supports craftsmanship, cultural preservation, and real community impact.
